With the World Health Organization declaring a pandemic, we put in place a policy allowing all guests to cancel eligible reservations for a full refund. This pandemic is leading cities and nations to undergo extreme measures. In this crisis, our first priority is the health of the public and our communities. We did not want guests making the decision to put themselves in unsafe situations and creating a public health hazard because of a commitment to their bookings. We believe this is the responsible thing to do given the guidance of governments and health experts.
So if you book, and you find it unsafe to travel, or you have become ill, or the government has begun a lockdown policy, just cancel and we will refund to you, no question will be asked. This policy will be in place during the pandemic.
All deposits and payments are not refundable. We are not required to provide a refund if you change your mind about the services you asked for.
Mornington Peninsula Cottages strongly recommends that you obtain travel insurance and will not be held responsible for costs, loss of deposits and payments made or other fees incurred due to cancellations resulting from but not limited to acts of terrorism, act of God, war, strikes, theft, delay, cancellation, civil disorder, disaster, Government regulations or changes in itinerary or schedule or from any occurrences or conditions beyond its control.
If you need to change your booking for any reason, you can transfer your booking to new dates or transfer them to other nominated guests given 30+ days’ notice. (for Peak Season bookings, 60+ days’ notice is required).
Cancellations within 30 days (60 days for Peak Bookings) require full payment of accommodation and services booked.
